How do you use a pre-shampoo detangler? 

Apply the Texture Series Pre-Shampoo Detangler generously onto dry hair before washing. Focus on tangled or dry areas, then gently finger-detangle or use a wide-tooth comb. Follow with your regular shampoo and conditioner for smooth, manageable curls. 

How long should I leave it in my hair? 

Leave the Texture Series Pre-Shampoo Detangler in for 5–10 minutes before washing. This allows the formula—infused with aloe juice and squalane—to soften knots and prep textured hair for a stress-free wash day. 

How is it different from regular conditioner? 

Unlike regular conditioner, which is used after shampooing, a pre-shampoo detangler is applied before cleansing to reduce breakage and make detangling easier. It’s designed to protect textured hair from wash-day damage while maintaining curl definition.
