How to Use HASK Hair Oils to Style Your Hair This Summer

POV: it’s finally summer and you are loving the heat… but your hair is super frizzy. HASK has got your back. Using HASK Hair Oils and some smart styling, you can save yourself from the heat, while still looking cute. Here are our top three ways to style your hair this summer using HASK Hair Oils.

  1. Flyaway-Free Ponytail

Is the humidity causing your ponytail to be full of frizz and flyaways? Use our smoothing hair oil to achieve this super simple yet super effective smooth and slicked ponytail.

Place a pea-sized amount of hair oil in your hand and rub them together to warm. Spread the product across your fingertips and run the oil through your hair, focusing on areas where you have the most frizz and flyaways. Use a boar bristle brush to distribute evenly through your hair and smooth down strands as you pull them back into a ponytail. P.S. Wrap a cute ribbon around the base of your pony for a polished, retro look.

  1. Beachy Pinned-Back Curls

If you’re a naturally wavy or curly gal, you’ll be no stranger to summertime frizz! This style is about remembering that frizz can be your friend… really! For you, frizz = volume. When the weather heats up, embrace your natural waves or curls and look to enhance them with our nourishing hair oil

Place a pea-sized amount of hair oil in your hands and rub them together to warm up. Glaze oil over the lengths of your hair, focusing on the ends, then gently scrunch hair upward. (P.S. Add more oil as you need if you have thick, high-density hair.) Shake hair at the roots for added volume, then sweep back front pieces, securing with bobby pins or mini claw clips.

  1. Low Braided Bun

Sometimes in the summer heat, simply getting your hair up and off your back is best. But rather than placing your hair up in a high, messy bun, try this more refined yet still low-maintenance look. First, smooth our repairing hair oil over your strands—not only will this minimise any damage caused by elastics and your hair being pulled back, but a repairing oil like argan will also help to smooth and secure strands into place without causing hair to look greasy!

After smoothing over with hair oil, braid your hair starting at the base of the neck, and secure the end with a clear elastic. Wrap the braid around itself, creating an upside-down U-shape. Tuck the end underneath the bun and secure it with a pin. Place small pins just inside the edges of the bun until secure. P.S. To create a fuller look, once secured, gently pull out along the edges of the bun.
